Getting there

Edinburgh Office & LGBT Centre for Health and Wellbeing

Location

Our Edinburgh office and the LGBT Centre for Health and Wellbeing are located at 9 Howe Street, Edinburgh EH3 6TE. The office is staffed during office hours and the Centre is open when we are running groups and events, which is usually in the evenings and at weekends.

By bus

Bus routes 23, 24, 27, 29 and 42 (Lothian Buses) and 13 (Edinburgh coach lines) all stop within a few minutes of Howe Street.

By train

The nearest train station is Edinburgh Waverley, which is about a 10 minutes walk from the Centre. When you come out of the train station turn left on Princes Street until you reach Frederick Street on your right.Turn right into Frederick Street and walk straight on across George Street and Queen Street until Frederick Street becomes Howe Street. The Centre is situated on your right at Number 9.

Access to the Centre

The LGBT Centre for Health and Wellbeing has five stone steps from the street level, a landing and one further step to the doorway. We regret that there is no ramp available to the main doorway, however we have a flexible approach to service delivery and aim to accommodate wherever possible.

Many of our events and projects are held outside of the Centre and are accessible. Please get in contact if you have any specific access requirements.

Feedback and Complaints

Our staff and volunteers aim to provide high quality services and support at all times and we always welcome feedback on how we are doing. We realise sometimes we might not get things entirely right. Where that is the case, we want to make sure we do our best to learn from any areas where we do not perform well, and improve our work as a result.

If you are unhappy about our work or any part of the services we provide we would be grateful for comments, criticism and complaints. These help us to do things better.

You can download our full Complaints Procedure or contact our Edinburgh office on 0131 523 1104 or our Glasgow Office on 0141 271 2330 and we will be able to signpost you to the most relevant member of staff.
