Information, Support and Advocacy
Getting relevant support and information and having your voice heard is not always easy for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people. The Centre offers a free, confidential and impartial Information, Advocacy and Helpline service. To talk to us about your situation or to make an appointment contact George on 0131 652 3281 or by email at george@lgbthealth.org.uk
Information Service
Information, guidance and advice - by phone, email or in person - on your rights and on health, social care and housing and LGBT issues. We also have a great deal of health and community information on display at the Centre and can provide you with internet access to help you do your own research.
Advocacy Service
To ensure LGBT people are aware of their rights and know where to turn to for advice. The service is for any LGBT person who wants support to access relevant and appropriate information, explore their options and ensure their views and wishes are heard by others.
