Here's hoping for a super sunny summer! However if Mother Nature fails us the Centre has a jam packed programme of events. Most of it is FREE but booking is essential.
Photo Walk 1 Sat 15th May, 11-2pm
Ally Wight our resident photography tutor leads a walk through the city offering advice and direction for taking the best pictures you can with your camera. Unleash your inner photographer and make the most of the summer light!

Kite Making Sun 30th May, 1-4pm
Make the most of Edinburgh's windy climate and join us at the Centre to make our own kites followed by a walk up Calton Hill to fly them! This is a great family friendly event. Designs and materials will be provided, so just come along and get stuck in!
Community Sports Day Sat 5th Jun, 11-3pm
As part of Edinburgh's Festival of Sport the Centre is hosting a school-sports-day-style event, inviting teams from all over the LGBT community to join in the fun and games! Special prizes will be up for grabs so don't miss out. It's also a great opportunity to find out about all the sports and community groups in Edinburgh. Bring along all the family, and a picnic for an active day in the sunshine!
Women's Film Night Fri 11th Jun, 7-10pm
The women-only film night is back! In association with Word the women's book group we will be showcasing some of the best in lesbian and women's cinema. To submit short films to be screened, just get in touch. Full details of what's on will be released at the end of May.
Pride Banner and T-shirt Making Sat 19th Jun, 1-4pm
Pride is coming up and we are getting ready to make our voices heard! Come and make a banner or a T-shirt to wear with Pride on the day!
Pride Breakfast Sat 26th Jun,10-12noon £5 entry
A great opportunity to meet new people and make the most out of Pride! Get into the swing of things and start the celebrations with other community members and supporters with a continental breakfast. Proceeds towards your LGBT Centre for Health and Wellbeing.

Ally Wight takes a 2nd tour of Edinburgh concentrating on nature's influence on the city. Expand on what you learnt on the walk in May, or come along for the first time to get professional guidance on getting the most out of your camera and taking the best pictures you can!

LGBT Homelessness Debate Thu 22nd Jul, 7-9pm
Have you ever had issues with housing? Felt unsafe in your tenancy? We have a panel of experts from Edinburgh Council, the Cyrenians, and individuals who have experienced homelessness, to discuss this issue which so often faces LBGT people.
This event is free but please book in advance!
Community Summer Fete Sat 31st Jul, 1-6pm
Join us for a flame grilled burger and meet the LGBT Community Groups in Edinburgh. With a raffle, name the teddy, face painting, bake sale, music and drama performances this is a fun filled afternoon that celebrates the LGBT community and its many interests and achievements.

Petra Ponnet continues to bend and stretch beginners and intermediates in this 8 week course that give's all the skills needed to gain confidence in all things Yoga.
