Coffee Posse
A safe, welcoming space for LGBTQ+ people aged 50+ to enjoy a brew and a chat.
Join Coffee Posse to meet new people, reconnect with old friends, and engage with your local community. There will be some gentle, no pressure relaxed social activities to help folks introduce themselves and get to know each other.
In April, we have Queer Yoga visiting for the first half to deliver some chair yoga and this will be followed by some time of tea, coffee and chats.
This event is for LGBTQ+ people aged 50+.
We welcome the entire diversity of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community including non-binary, queer, intersex, asexual people and all identities under the LGBTQIA+ umbrella.
We also welcome people who are exploring their sexual orientation/gender identity, or do not use labels for either.
You don’t need to register in advance—just drop in when it suits you between 1pm and 3pm.
The event is hosted at LGBT Health and Wellbeing in Duncan Place Community Hub.
The venue and our event features:
♿️ Wheelchair access with ramp access, automatic doors and lifts
🅿️ Disabled parking spaces x 2
⚧ Accessible and gender neutral toilets
⏰ Relaxed timing: drop in and out when you like
