Glasgow Volunteering Opportunities

LGBT Age (Social Programme and Community Action Project) Volunteer

LGBT Health and Wellbeing aims to offer community members safe and inclusive spaces for LGBT people aged 50 and over. We have two current projects in Glasgow: our Age Social Programme and new Community Action Project. With staff and volunteer support, you will assist in arranging these activities, assist with promotion of events and help facilitate the activities, workshops and events themselves. The role requires enthusiasm, energy, initiative and an interest in making a whole variety of activities accessible and fun for older lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people, including those who are particularly marginalised and vulnerable. To apply, please complete the application form and return it to Jean Monaghan (Development Worker with LGBT Age Social Programme) at jean@lgbthealth.org.uk Or alternatively, you can post it to: LGBT Health and Wellbeing 12 Queen’s Crescent Glasgow G4 9AS
